Amazing food. Very authentic hot pot. People are very nice. Highly recommended.

So this morning we went to the Gold Coast zoo. My boyfriend brought some clients along, and I really wanted them to try some proper Sichuan hotpot — here in Australia! So I booked a table at Madame Chilli Hotpot. Turns out I accidentally called the Brisbane store (I totally thought I had the right one!). They told me they close at 2, but they still sent me a QR code to order ahead so they could get the dishes ready. They even messaged me saying, “Come on in, everything’s ready to eat!” We got to the Gold Coast store at 2:30pm and… nothing was there! Then I realised — oops — I’d ordered from the Brisbane store! By that time, there were no customers left and the team were already wrapping up. But when we walked in, they were so nice — they said, “No worries, we’ll make sure you get a feed!” And honestly, not one person from either store made me feel bad for messing up the booking. So grateful — we’ll definitely be back!

The soup base is amazing. A variety of food you can choose from. Will come back again.

We had a great time here! The food was delicious, with tasty hotpot bases and fresh dishes. The restaurant is also very family-friendly, as we had three five-year-olds running around, and the staff were so patient and welcoming. They even provided little crafts for the kids, which kept them entertained. A lively meal really needs a steaming hotpot! Highly recommend for both good food and a fun atmosphere.

I celebrated my birthday here few months ago and I had my family and friends celebrated with me. The food was really good The hotpot has several variety of broth to choose from. The moment you walk in front of this restaurant, your nose will be hit with the lovely smell of spices and food being cooked in the broth. I did a recent trip to China early this year and I had the opportunity to enjoy hotpot in Chengdu and I would sau this is almost close to being authentic if some of the spiciness level is not toned down. My friends and family enjoyed this place and I would to come back again. We had two big pots for 8 adults. It comes to about $48 each on calculation. There's so many choices of meat, veggies, noodles, balls and also a bar of sauces you can make your own. They have a qrcode where you order everything. They also offer cooked food. My 2 year old niece loved the hotpot soup. We ordered half spicy and half mild. Very satisfying and I highly recommend this place.

Absolutely loved this hotpot restaurant! The broth was incredibly flavorful, the ingredients were fresh, and the service was warm and attentive. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is cozy. A perfect place for friends and family. Highly recommended!

Great spot for hotpot! Once the soup starts bubbling, the aroma goes to a whole new level. The staff are super friendly — they even gave me a handmade bao they made themselves! Everything’s fresh and delicious. Fantastic experience!
